Polyphenols

Why are polyphenols important? The antioxidants in blueberries, raspberries and cherries have been known to protect against Alzheimer's. Also reduce risk for stroke and neurodegenerative diseases such as MS, Parkinson's and Huntington's disease. Raspberries are a great fiber source and sour cherries are good for gout.
